All four gospels tell the story of Jesus’ baptism, but Luke’s version is different from the others; in this Gospel the Father seems to whisper to Jesus, “You are my beloved son.” What would it do to us to hear God’s voice whispering as we got out of bed in this morning, “You are my beloved”?
