Rev. Dr. Timothy Peoples examines Nehemiah 8. Peoples suggests, “In our struggle to piece together our own society we must remember community rather than self. Worship is not just in the raising of hands and the ‘Amens’ but in the sharing and the gathering.”
Rev. Dr. Timothy Peoples became Wilshire’s senior pastor in January 2023 after serving five years as senior minister at Emerywood Baptist Church in High Point, North Carolina. He was a pastoral resident at Wilshire from 2015 to 2017.
