Dr. Jim Somerville, Pastor of Richmond’s First Baptist Church and Co-Founder of A Sermon for Every Sunday, preaches a sermon from John 18:33-37 called “Not From this World.” Today’s Sunday in the lectionary is a special one set aside to remind us of Christ’s kingship. As we get bogged down with the world around us, Somerville invites us to ponder, “What would Jesus Christ think of all of this?” How might this question change how we interact with the world around us?
