“Learn to Turn Bad Moments into Growth” (C17: Third Sunday in Lent)

Rev. Art Wright

Rev. Wright examines the teachings of Jesus in Luke 13:1-9. When Jesus is confronted with a difficult question, he uses it as an opportunity to provide a valuable lesson: what some intend for evil, the faithful can learn to seek God in order to turn those moments into justice.
Art Wright is the Senior Pastor of Williamsburg Baptist Church in Virginia. Before coming to Williamsburg Baptist, Wright served as Theologian in Residence for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia (CBFVA), and was Associate Professor of Spirituality and New Testament at the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (BTSR) from 2011 to 2019. He has also taught at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Shawnee, Kansas, and Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
